TUDOR Black Bay

Sixty years of TUDOR diving history distilled into one truly iconic watch. The Black Bay is designed to ensure robustness and precision, powered by a mechanical movement manufactured by TUDOR. The Black Bay is available with a steel bracelet, an aged leather strap and folding clasp or a fabric strap with buckle. The steel bracelet has been reworked taking inspiration from the brand's riveted bracelets from the 50s and 60s. These were famous for having rivet heads for attaching the links in evidence on the side of the bracelet, as well as a stepped construction. The Tudor Black Bay has laid down the aesthetic and technical foundations of an ideal divers’ watch, which is understated, functional and reliable tool.

TUDOR Black Bay Pro

Tudor’s new technical model comes with a whole new aesthetic. It is instantly recognisable by the signature yellow 24-hour “Snowflake” hand which has a beautiful contrast with the matte black dial. It is powered by the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5652 with a built-in GMT function and a 70-hour power reserve. The Black Bay Pro model was made to reflect the instruments brand founder Hans Wilsdorf supplied to 30 pioneering explorers who embarked on a 2-year British North Greenland Expedition to study arctic ice 70 years ago.

TUDOR Black Bay GMT

Tudor’s famous Black Bay divers’ watch now with a GMT function. This allows it to establish a local time without losing sight of the time in 2 other time zones. The reference time is indicated by an angular “Snowflake” hand which completes a lap of the dial every 24 hours. Local time is indicated by a shorter “Snowflake” hand set by a jumping hour, which can be moved either backward or forwards. The date, positioned at 3 o’clock, is connected to the local time hand. The 24-hour graduated bidirectional rotating bezel and “24-hour” hand mean you can also keep track of a third time zone.

TUDOR Black Bay Chrono

The Black Bay Chrono combines Tudor’s motorsport heritage in a sport-chic chronograph, with contrasting sub-counters and a high-performance automatic Manufacture Calibre, with column wheel and vertical clutch. The sub-counters have a circular-grained finish and feature a 45-minute counter and a date aperture positioned at 6 o’clock. With a fixed bezel and tachymetric scale to complete the look.

TUDOR Black Bay 31/36/39/41 S&G

This is a new unique aesthetic to the Black Bay line, the polished yellow gold sections add a sophisticated and chic look as opposed to the brand's iconic tool watch spirit. It has a fixed bezel and comes in 4 sizes with a five-link bracelet and clasp with rapid adjustment. The case of the Black bay 31,36,39 and 41 S&G models present a sophisticated and curved version of the famous aesthetic, the soft silhouette is accentuated by a new curved winding crown. The polished look of the yellow gold is also new to the black bay line as precious metals used to date have always had a satin-brushed finish. There is also an option of a diamond-set bezel for sizes 31,36 and 39 a chic detail that enhances the watch’s sparkle on the wrist.

TUDOR Black Bay Bronze

The Black Bay Bronze is a 43mm divers’ watch inspired by the brand's naval history and is fitted with the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5601. The bronze is an aesthetic reference to the brass used in old ships and diving equipment. The “living” metal, the case is made out of a high-performance aluminium-copper alloy used in naval engineering for submerged parts, this will produce a subtle, unique patina, based on the wearer's habits. The MT5601 that drives this model is 33.8 millimetres, the widest diameter of all Tudor Calibres, it has a 70-hour power reserve, and its build has been designed to ensure reliability and longevity for its wearer.
